OUR AIM

OUR AIM is to reach the unreached:- the orphans, poor, school drop-outs, jobless and the less privileged in the society. They are lonely and oftentime forgotten, waiting for a kind hand to stretch out to and give them hope. Some are looking for someone to talk to, for someone to show them love and who really cares. Secondly our aim is to reach everyone with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, through the preaching of the Good News as the Great Commision demands. We achieve this through our Evangelsitic and Outreach programmes. We are quite aware that poverty can never be eradicated, but we of RHF have come up with our own areas of interest for the sole purpose of rendering services to humanity. Our target for now:

  • Hope Computer Training Centre (HCTC)

#   In the first department, we train the orphans, poor, jobless, school drop-outs and the less privileged and those individuals who make themselves available. We centre our training mainly on secretaryship, typing and receptionist.

In the second department, we train our students in computer maintenance, software and hardware installations. We carry out our training at a very minimal cost to enable everyone participate. The funds generated are mainly used to run the centre. For those who can't really afford, we give thesame training, and ask them to work as volunteers in the centre and other outreaches of the foundation for a period of time. To encourage our students towards academic excellence, we offer scholarhips at the end of the course. This is often in the donation of a computer and sometimes a printer to set up a documentation centre.

We do also orgainse computer literacy programmes for adults and students during summer holidays (June to September). More often we have more students than we normally can accommodate.

  • Photography & Video Editing Linear & Non-linear

We train those jobless individuals who make themsevles available free of charge. Thanks to our volunteers who usually make themselves available whenever we knock at their doors. After the course, we encourage our trainees to set up small business entreprises. We assist them mainly technically.

  • Rehabilitation Centres

We usually work in partnership with other rehabilitation centres like the Bulu Blind Centre Mile 16 Buea, the Yoke Blind and Handicap Centre, the Buea Town Orphanage, the Manyemen Leprosy Centre and a host of others. We channel some of our donations to them, like clothing & beddings etc and sometimes in cash as the Lord provides through our partners worldwide. We also link and expose them directly to donor organizations.

  • Preaching The Gospel

We are not a church nor do we observe any denominational barriers, but we are a freelance evangelistic group who have the passion for preaching the Good News. We work in collaboration with churches both locally and internationally. In obedience to St. Mark 16:15 "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature", we go wherever the Lord directs. We reach the masses through Evangelistic crusades and conferences.

We also reach them through gospel literature distribution and Film projections. For those who become born-again, we hand them to a living church around the area, but from time to time we maintain contact and we demand reports of their spiritual growth. Infact it's not an easy task, that's why we do solicit your support so as to reach more and more people with the gospel. You can't imagine, there are many who haven't yet heard about Jesus not to even mention of his saving grace.

  • HIV/AIDS & STDs

Our preachings also centre on sensitizing the masses about the dangers of this pandemic HIV/AIDS. We help console the HIV infected persons to eradicate stigmatisation and we also pray with them, some of whom through the help of God's grace go back and are tested negative. Thus restored in the normal activities in the society.
