DOES GOD REALLY EXIST? When you look around you, you realize that everything you see has been made by some man – be it automobiles, airplanes, houses, clothes, books etc. Knowing fully well that there’s someone behind every creation, therefore look at yourself in the mirror and ask. Who is the one behind my existence? There’s an invisible and invincible person that rules the earth and the entire universe at large. It is beyond our five senses and scientific research, but He is more real than you and me. It is a mystery that can not be grasped with our human knowledge. In fact there are no words on this platform that can fully explain the existence of the supernatural person I am talking about. He is the Almighty God, the ancient of days, the creator of heaven and earth, and the ruler of the entire universe. He is the invisible super-power behind our creation. He is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscience. We didn’t just come out from some organisms through cell division nor did we originate from the ape as some scientists suggest. We are no mere accidents on this earth. We are here for a purpose. I know atheists, Satanists, philosophers and those studying metaphysics won’t agree with what I am saying here. Until you have an encounter with Him, you might not fully understand what I am talking about. These are stories of some people who defied the existence of God, thus perished in their ignorance. Adolf Hitler was one of those who didn’t acknowledge the existence of God. He said “if there is no God then I am god, but if there is a God then I am the second”. We all know his outcome, how he miserably died. Another man was the one behind the manufacture of the famous Titanic. After finishing his work and the ship was set for sailing, on the day of launching he said “there’s nothing on earth that can sink her, not even God”. What happened, the famous Titanic struck glacier and sunk below the ocean and thousands of passengers went down with her. The life boats were not just enough to contain all of them. I have heard of countless number of people who defied the existence of the Almighty God, and they perished because of their folly. He said He shall share His glory with any man. Time will fail me to mention some individuals in the bible, how God dealt angrily they took God’s position, King Herod was one of them. Read this: And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost. But the word of God grew and multiplied. Acts 12:21-24 Despite all they did, the word of the Lord still grew mightily. What of King Nebuchadnezzar who made the people to worship him and his golden image and God made him to eat grass as the beast of the field for seven years. Read the whole Daniel chapter 3. We also know of how God brought down the empire of Pharaoh of Egypt because he couldn’t give heed to what God was saying. In fact the list goes on and on. Perhaps you didn’t know, because the truth was veiled to you until now. I didn’t know Him either until one day I said: I hear there’s a God and that you created everything including me. God I want to experience you. Reveal yourself to me that I may know and serve you. Thank you for hearing me.
